Another Successful Murder Mystery Evening

On Saturday October 26 a most successful Halloween Murder Mystery was
held in the President's Hall at the Community Centre.  Over 80 people
enjoyed the excellent 3-course meal prepared by a professional chef
while solving the clues of the play “Who Murdered Lady Limpwrist” This
was enacted by 8 members of the Stafford Players drama group.

Numerous  people arrived in an amazing variety of Halloween costumes
including vampires, ghosts, witches and even a witches cat, a prize was
given for the best outfit and also one for the team who solved the
murder mystery.

Stone Mayor Rob Kenney, his wife and other and other volunteers gave
‘hands-on’ support during the evening, and Deputy Mayor Mark Green
thanked every one for attending the evening and the many volunteers
who had organised the whole event.

Any profits made went towards the building refurbishment programme at Walton

Due to the further success of these murder mystery evenings we hope to
organise another in the spring
